In Zurich's old town, between Niederdorf and Oberdorf, at the foot of Zurich's landmark - the Grossmünster - you will find the restaurant "Le Dézaley", which takes its name from the famous wine region in the heart of Lavaux. The Le Dézaley restaurant was opened in 1902 with the aim of presenting the wonderful wines of the Lavaux, La Côte and Chablais regions in Switzerland's largest city. For over 120 years, we have been serving home-style cuisine on Römergasse with specialties from Vaud such as saucisson vaudois. But international classics such as the beef fillet with morel cream sauce, the veal “Cordon bleu” or the entrecôte with homemade herb butter are also very popular. Our guests also appreciate the special seasonal menus such as the asparagus menu, the summer menu or, in autumn, the game menu. Our traditional cheese fondue is world-famous and is made from mature cheeses “sur choix” from the region and is one of the reasons why many guests from all over the world visit us every year. The truffle and morel fondue is also very popular. Meat lovers head to Le Dézaley for Fondue Bourguignonne or Fondue Chinoise. Our sliced veal “Zurich style” is very popular with many guests from the region and beyond and is accompanied by a crispy Rösti.
