The company was founded in 1896 by Mr. Strommayer and then taken over by his son, Fritz Strommayer. Mr. Leu joined later, which is why the company was given the name Strommayer + Leu. Some time later, the management was supplemented by Mr. Kälin. Since then, the company has been called Leu + Kälin. In 2013, the company was taken over by Roland Tschui. He is now the managing director and, as a trained painter, has over 35 years of experience in the industry. The 3-person painting team specializes in customer painting work during renovations.
