The "Schönmatt" is far, far away from the hustle and bustle of the city of Basel. Surrounded by forest and meadow on a plateau above Arlesheim, below Gempen. You can also reach us by car from Muttenz and Liestal in about 10 minutes. In the cold seasons you can enjoy the hearty delicacies from the kitchen of Guido Keller and Stefan Dösserich in the cozy guest room with the magnificent Art Nouveau tiled stove. In summer it is nice to sit under the mighty chestnut trees. While the children have fun with the animals and in the children's traffic garden, you can enjoy a homemade piece of cake or tart and drink a "Kaffi Schönmatt". We look forward to seeing you!
